We employ highly qualified, well trained and experienced Conservation Advisers and Project Officers who are aware of Environmental legislation, regulations and procedures. We can interpret the regulations into practical advice to help our members and farmers manage their land and businesses cost-effectively to achieve environmental gains, by helping both parties to reach their objectives.
Advice to our members is confidential and we have no enforcement powers or reporting duties. Therefore we often act as the link between officers representing the Government Agencies, and our clients and members, working closely with both parties who are so often on opposite sides of the fence.
A proportion of our funding is from various authorities and agencies, who recognise FWAG’s unique position, and partner with us to direct funding sources where it is most needed, using the most appropriate channels.
