Nearly 60% of farmers have taken up the opportunities offered by Entry Level Stewardship. Are you one of them? A well planned scheme can ease the management of your farm:
How FWAG can help...
Entry Level Stewardship is the DEFRA funded agri-environment scheme (administered by Natural England) aimed at rewarding farmers for undertaking basic environmental measures on their holding. It pays £30/Ha annually for 5 years (£60 per hectare on organic holdings) in most circumstances for land entered into the scheme and is based on a point scoring threshold around mapped information.
Our team of advisers have vast experience in putting ELS schemes together to meet the needs of different farm types and as a result can efficiently complete the application process which can be on-line if preferred. The service can be as much or as little as you require, from checking and advising on an application you have worked up yourself to undertaking the whole task, including any field work necessary.
In most instances, for a 100ha farm the income annually is £3000 paid in two instalments, equating to £15,000 over the five year agreement. The cost of the service will obviously depend upon your requirements and will be quoted for upon request. To make an enquiry or book a visit online, telephone 02476 696699 or email info@fwag.org.uk
