Spring Training Programme

FWAG and the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust are part of a consortium promoting the Campaign against accidental and illegal poisoning (CAIP). The campaign aims to protect wildlife, livestock and pets by promoting the safe and legal use of pesticides to control pests on farm and within shoots.  The project is funded by Defra through the Chemicals Regulation Directorate of HSE.

One of the main aims of the project is to ensure farmers and gamekeepers' are  aware of the correct methods of pest control, including the use of pesticides, rodenticides, slug pellets, and trapping and how best to protect pets and wildlife.

The core of this training is being delivered through a series of training sessions that will take place during the coming year.
