Cornwall Farm Environment Link Project wins best practice award

Delegates at the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM) conference recently voted the Cornwall FWAG Farm Environment Link Project as the winner of its first ever Best Practice Awards competition.  Entries from projects of all sizes were welcomed, and entries were judged on whether they showed best practice whilst contributing to the five objectives of the IEEM.

Cornwall FELP beat off stiff competition from the other two finalists, the Environment Agency's Macrophyte Training and Accreditation Scheme and Natura Environmental Consultant's Green City Guidelines.

Cornwall FWAG Adviser Sean Bennett (previously the FELP Project Officer) travelled to the conference to collect the award.
